David Handley

David has always been interested in creating. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from the University of British Columbia.

Clay first caught his interest in high school. The malleability of the clay - the way it bends and stretches - has always fascinated him. Twenty-eight years later he's still working with this amazing "mud".

David is very demanding of his own work, always striving to go far beyond where he is currently. "My goal is not to produce large amounts of adequate work, but smaller amounts of extraordinary work." He enjoys creating pieces so much that sometimes it's difficult to part with them.
